Manoir de Monlabeur stands on one of these naturally sheltered sites, where the landscape has offered water, protection and a place to settle since the earliest days of human habitation.

Leaning against a small rock overlooking the low-lying meadows, Manoir de Monlabeur is a romantic 15th-century manor house nestled in the rolling hills of Charente-Maritime, on the banks of the River Charente.
Surrounded by centuries-old trees and discreetly tucked behind a wall of greenery, it offers a peaceful and intimate setting in which guests can slow down, reconnect and enjoy private use of the property throughout their stay.
The manor accommodates guests in seven comfortable double bedrooms and provides generous spaces for gathering, working and unwinding. Two meeting rooms can host groups of up to 16 people, while three well-equipped kitchens make shared meals and longer stays easy and enjoyable. Outside, a covered terrace and barbecue area invite relaxed dining, and the swimming pool offers a refreshing place to spend warm, sunny days. Throughout the house and grounds, there are plenty of welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces for conversation, quiet reflection, creative activities or simply relaxing together.
Although wonderfully secluded, Manoir de Monlabeur is within walking distance of the village of Chaniers and only six kilometres from the beautiful historic town of Saintes. This balance of tranquillity, comfort and accessibility makes it an ideal environment for small seminars, inspiring retreats and memorable family reunions—a place where people can come together, feel at home and create lasting memories.
